Remember that their advice is always optional; if something doesn’t work for you, don’t force yourself. Try something else instead. Finding the habits, tools, and inspirations that work for you is what matters most!

Why does this matter?
If you’re selling your books signed by the author or merch on your site, don’t you want readers to go there instead of buying your book on Amazon?
You want that money in your pocket, right?
So, you should be driving readers to your website!
P.S. If you’re looking at traditional publishing, every number you can provide as proof of your audience matters. That means you can use your website traffic numbers as part of your audience in a book proposal.
